2628. According to the owner it's a rope winder from a hardware store, it was expanded to the appropriate size and then rope was wrapped around it, the parts were then collapsed and the customer was left with a coil of rope.

ReplyDelete2625 It looks like a preheater box. An add-on accessory for early cars (or tractors)it fit on the carburator and used engine heat to warm the incoming air to help vaporize fuel on a cold day.
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely an air preheater but I haven't been able to determine if it's for cars or furnaces.
