The part on the end is a solid piece of metal, not sure how that would hold a spool of thread. I did a patent search on this idea but didn't find anything.
1797, is a Sigh Stone Carrier. The holder will hold water for the stone. Jerry K.

ReplyDeleteYea, I noticed that too.. Below is an example of what I was thinking, but yea, you would have to have a way to be able to add/remove the bobbin..
