More discussion and comments on these photos can be found at the newsgroup rec.puzzles.

  1. 1807. Double edge razor blade sharpener.

  2. 1808. is a coffee pot holder for a campfire cooking set up. The pot hangs from the S hook and the small rod hooks near the bottom of the pot. Pushing down on the long bar tips the pot over to pour the coffee.

1810 is for hanging corn on the cob to dry. The cobs are pushed on the spikes.

  3. 1807 - the spindle/reel for a fishing pole.

1809 - drum carder for wool

1810- wire to keep pigeons from ledges.

  4. 1811 looks like a screw from a woodworkers parallel clamp.

1809 looks like it is a primitive grain (wheat?) separator

  5. Correct answers so far:

    1807. razor blade sharpener
    1808. coffee pot holder
    1810. corn dryer
1811. part of a parallel clamp

  6. Merry Christmas to you, too, Rob.

(I knew the wind/rain drum and the sharpener! Got here late, though.)
