2795 Sent in by someone who is looking to identify this tool, the wedge and ring are made of metal:

Answers:

2791. The devices attached to this bulldozer are Trimble gps units, they are part of "a full 3D control system that puts the site plan - design surfaces, grades and alignments - inside the cab."

2792. The purpose for the hole is to allow the dvd drawer to be opened by inserting part of a paperclip into it, for use when the power is off or if there is a problem opening it with the button.

2793. This is a bonde cutter - the bonde is the tapered wooden plug (often a soft hardwood such as poplar) that fits into the filling hole of a wine barrel. The blade is at a slight angle from the vertical, and the vertical spindle which holds the blank rotates approx 1/40 revolution each stroke. It is missing its drive handle, and someone over-tightened the screw and broke the casting, hence the blacksmith made steel repair.

  1. 2791 looks a bit like GPS Antennas...
2792 an equivalent of a reset key actuable by a straigtened paper clip to open the drawer when only the power is connected to the DVD drive...
2795 looks like a wedge tool for cutting stones.. (not sure)
2797 a force measuring device for measuring hand strength

  4. 2795 Does look like a stone splitting wedge. My dad has one from an old slate quarry.

  5. Contrary to Anonymous #1's comment, unless they've changed things these days, the small hole on the disc drive contains a _mechanical_ eject mechanism, a lever which when pushed moves the tray out enough to grab by hand.
