These are caulks (cleats) for horseshoes, they are used for getting better traction in mud and snow.

ReplyDeleteI agree with David B. It appears to be a very small hardie for an anvil.
ReplyDeleteI also thought they were hardie tools for an anvil but found out that they are actually for another purpose. Someone found a sack of fifty of these items.
