Set 279

For first time visitors I recommend this archive for some of my best posts.


The first three tools in this set were sent in by visitors who are looking to identify them.

1585. Approximately 4-1/2" long:

















1586.This Starrett tool is 6-3/4" long from the end of the thick bar to the edge of the gimbal, the movable rod is 6" long:

  2. 1586. looks like a tool to check "on -center" for a lathe or mill. We had one that looked a little like this thing. the pattern maker called it a "wiggler"
