2119. 2-1/8" long when closed, 3-1/2" long when open, submitted by a visitor who is looking to identify this device, it was found in a box with an old fleam:

    2123 - These fasten onto shoe heels for walking in icy weather

  2. 2122 - might be the back or side to an old-style cash register. The one I found was about 12" wide by 10" tall, but this looks smaller.. Was mostly a plate with a design on it, and a small tab to pull the back off.

    Just a wild guess though.
