3188. The title of the patent for this device says "Draft Regulator For Heating Furnaces," and text on it reads "Air Blast Regulator." It works "by reducing or closing the entrance of air to the fire or by slowing the draft by introducing air into the uptake-flue, or both," patent number 472,305.
