2497. Not sure about this item, it's possibly a handle for an old valve:

2498. A WWII German Glasmine 43 Anti-Personnel Mine, this Youtube video describes how it worked:

In actual use the pencils or sticks would have been removed, they function as a safety so the heavy glass piece doesn't accidentally break the thinner one.

2499. These are ice fishing poles, line can be wrapped around the center parts:

2500. This is a billiard cue trimmer and tip fastener, the trimmer is used to remove old glue and the remains of the previous tip, it can also be used as a clamp to hold the new tip while the adhesive dries, patent number 589,225.

2501. A Yeti Tarpon Beverage Entry Tool, it features a twist-off wrench, church key opener, and a can tab pryer.

2502. This tool is an Alidade,
a device that allows one to sight a distant object and use the line of sight to perform a task. This task can be, for example, to draw a line on a plane table in the direction of the object or to measure the angle to the object from some reference point. Angles measured can be horizontal, vertical or in any chosen plane. The alidade's primary use is for creating maps in the horizontal plane.

  9. I agree that 2497 is the handle from a recliner, probably a La-Z-Boy. The set screw tightens the handle to the drive rod, a steel rod that extends into the chair and engages the footrest of the chair. See: http://www.la-z-boy.com/Support/Customer-Support-Videos/
