3050. This is a loose coupler for radio reception, it was used as the primary tuning device in an early receiver.

3051. This is a wagon wrench, it was "designed specifically for use in connection with the nuts commonly employed on carriage axles for retaining the wheels in place on the axle," patent number 533,844.

    3053: It looks like a hidden bottle opener that can be inset into a piece of furniture or cabinetry.

  5. 3053 is a man's razor--one lid has a strop, the other a whetston (if my memory doesn't fail me--I have (or had) one.

    Pulling and pushing the handle flips the blade and rubs it against the surface to sharpen it--then the blade is rotated 90° to remove it and attach the handle for use.

    3050 looks like some sort of antenna tuner.

    1. on 3053, the handle for shaving is missing--it would have bee stored on the cross-piece of the stropping handle.
