3042. According to the owner, "These steel hammers are made in an English Warrington pattern. The narrow end was used to start a nail in a tight spot or when using a short nail. It can strike the nail between the fingers to start it without injuring the fingers."

3037. Removes metal caps from drink bottles. Hook the head of the bent nail under the frilled edge of the cap, position the wooden handle atop the cap, seesaw the wooden handle down so that the nail head lifts the edge of the cap. A magnet embedded in the handle holds the cap to the handle so that it doesn't go flying.
ReplyDelete3038. Apparatus for concealing a small gun up your sleeve. Strap the lang thing to the inside of your forearm; through your clothing, press the lever in the middle (or however the device is actuated; designs vary) and the spring-loaded carriage pushes the gun down your sleeve into the palm of your hand.
