3098. This Techniflex tool is probably a hand miter, for cutting some type of material at a 45 degree angle:

3100. This is a small version of a hurdle, which is a portable fence that could be used to make temporary pens for livestock that were at the market. It was part of a display of hurdle making tools at the Sellars Gallery.

  7. 3100 is a gate hurdle, made from ash or chestnut. They where used for temporary fencing and animal pens/enclosures. The tool below is a twybil, which is used to cut the mortice holes for the rail tenons to fit in. One end of this is a sharp blade the other end is a square bent chisel like end for levering out the wood waste.
    The gate hurdles are usually made about 5-6 foot long and 4 foot in height
