This was found in a part of town that used to have an amusement park, so it was probably a part of a ride or sign.

3240. This is a J.C. Cox Coin Till, the main selling point for it was that it was supposed to stop mistakes and disputes about which coin was given in payment since coins from the last four transactions could be seen through the glass on the right side. The coins were dropped into a slot at the top and progressed down to the next level by means of a brass lever which moved from side to side. Finally the coins were retained in a locked box at the base. The shelves on the left were for counted stacked coins and the bowl was for miscellaneous coins.

3230. This is a can for carrying fuel. Farm tractors would burn gasoline, kerosene and other types of fuel that were delivered by trucks. For those that did not have underground storage, the fuel usually had to be carried into a small shed and poured into 50 gallon barrels. The delivery truck had a small counter mounted on it and each time a 5 gallon container was filled the counter was advanced one notch. Similar containers can be seen here.
