  1. 2881. Looks like a pop-riveting tool
2885. Looks like half of a shuttle for weaving.
2886. Lens for a lantern of some sort. Possibly either a railroad lantern or a boat. But I'd guess a hand held railroad lantern.

  2. I agree with Anonymous on 2881, a pop-riveting tool.

2882 looks like a rack for holding tubes of specimens for cryogenic storage; I think I've seen them used for sperm/embryo banking.

I don't think 2885 is a weaving shuttle, I think it's more likely a clamp or guard for some sort of piping.

    2886 looks like a lens/filter for a lantern, as per Anonymous's comments.

  3. 2882 looks like part of the rotating group for a hydraulic pump or an automotive air conditioner.

  4. Just from looking at it, 2883, if mounted on a wall with the left end up, will grab onto objects pushed into the loop, and let go when the loop is pulled upward. I don't know what kind of object it's meant to hold.

  5. The first one is a handgun for pop rivets, second one I don't know, third one looks like a wall mounted holder of the kind that you would push something up into and it would stay like the tip of a broom handle or something, could the fourth be some type of knife sharpener? Fifth, shoe stretcher? Sixth an old style insulator for phone wire? JLEENITZ4@AOL.COM

  7. 2881 -- pop-rivet installation tool

2883 -- hanger -- 4 holes bolted to a vertical surface. Not sure what got hung--hides? fire hoses?

2886 is the lens out of a construction hazard lantern.
